Hasan Al-Rashed is a London-born filmmaker whose passion for visual storytelling began at the age of 15, when a teacher introduced him to the transformative power of collaboration. Hasan studied for a BA (Hons) in Film Studies at Queen Mary University of London, refining his skills in scriptwriting, directing, and creative production.
During his time at university, Hasan directed One Rat's Dream (2022), a mind-bending psychological thriller recognized by multiple film festivals, and Limbo Stretch (2023), a unique blend of humor and drama chronicling the final days of a man with heart failure. His creative journey is driven by a passion for crafting thought-provoking films that challenge audiences to question the fabric of our reality and the systems that shape it, a responsibility he holds close to his heart.
In his free time, Hasan enjoys portrait sketching, photography, and exploring diverse literature, all of which fuel his creative vision for making films that resonate deeply with audiences.
